The Chesterfield Cultural Arts Foundation

The Chesterfield Cultural Arts Foundation (CCAF) was formerly the Chesterfield Center for the Arts Foundation. The name change was necessary with the wonderful $1 million pledge from Dr. Baxter and Elaine Perkinson Jr. and the subsequent naming of the Center to the Baxter Perkinson Center for the Arts (BPCA). The Foundation provides the dream with citizen leadership and support for the proposed Baxter Perkinson Center for the Arts. The heart of the Foundation is the Chesterfield Business leaders and Community members who are dedicated to working with the Chesterfield County Administration and Board of Supervisors to ensure community leadership and support for the construction and operation of the Center.

The Chesterfield Cultural Arts foundation mission is to manage the Baxter Perkinson Center for the Arts with fiscal responsibility while creating and maintaining the greatest arts and cultural influence to benefit Chesterfield, the Tri-Cities and the Greater Richmond region and to ensure the longevity of the BPCA so that it may be enjoyed by all for the foreseeable future. The Foundation office is located across the street from the future site of the Center at 11801 Centre Street, Chester, VA in the Chester Village Green.

We have raised $2,300,000 to date out of our goal of $3,000,000
